Lauren Mills

While attending college in New York City, Lauren took yoga classes at her gym for the funny instructor and his Madonna playlists, but could not fully understand the hype: As an athlete, she preferred sweating in the gym over stretching in a studio.

After later moving to Washington, D.C. and going through a difficult transition, hot yoga found her and became her therapy. The practice of yoga transformed her life in more ways she could have ever expected and she felt compelled to become a yoga instructor.

After completing several yoga teacher trainings her mission is to share the evolutionary practice with you.

Lauren’s nurturing and lighthearted teaching style makes postures feel more accessible and less intimidating to any beginner.

If you’re new to yoga and skeptical about the yoga hype, or if you have a practice and you’re looking to deepen it, Lauren is delighted to help you along your path.

Why Private Yoga?

Going to yoga is intimidating! When you’re not feeling comfortable in your body and you don’t understand Sanskrit, attending a group yoga class can induce stress – which isn’t the point of yoga.

Learning yoga in a private setting with a skilled professional is an alternative many newbies prefer: a custom made practice designed specifically for you and your needs; hands on adjustments and personalized feedback so you understand the poses and practice more fully; all in the comfort of your own home.
